the Sun and the Rainfall
It is raining.
Not yesterday; yesterday it was hot and sunny and i was able to lie outside all day and read.
I’ve finished one book already.
This evening i embarked on reading Lunar Park. Funny how easy it is to go back to what is familiar; to your favourite writers, composers, whatever. To Bret Easton, Dostoyevsky, Skinny Puppy, Depeche Mode and Wilde (oh Wilde, who i love so much!). Not to mention the men that i bring back from memory and take with me as imaginary friends on my walks.
It is rather empty here, if i don’t count the people down in the village.
Tomorrow we will go to the mainland to buy food and to go to the flea market. Let’s hope for bloggable adventures!

summer days
Being back in Sweden is quite alright. I’m tanned, hungry, with clean hair for once and longing for making another lopapeysa. A thick grey one for me or my brother.
Tomorrow we’ll go to the countryside which will be very good indeed. I’ve been far too drunk far too many times lately, not to mention weeks (months?) i’ve been drinking too often, so going up on the west coast for two weeks only taking with me one kilo of Icelandic wool and many kilos of books couldn’t hurt at all.
Oh! And my new camera. My sweet sweet Konica TC with flash and zoom lens that i bought in Kolaportið not long ago.
Påskmust! My mum bought me a bottle. It is good. I am happy.
I have a feeling that my camera is female. I don’t know why, probably because of some old gender-related prejudices i thought i didn’t have, but I’m sure she and i will have great adventures together! When i won’t be playing with my Polaroid (tack Emil, den har varit världens snällaste!), that is.
Time to cook.
Take care and love eachother.
